The last bit of tour

After a few weeks of relaxing and only a few days after John and Larissa’s wedding, we headed out again for another three weeks of traveling. July 30th we started our journey by heading to Collinsville Illinois, outside of St. Louis. Last time we were in that area we attended a juvenile program with Tim Starks and this time we had planned to join his church to share with them. Sadly the week we were there one of the pioneers from their church passed away and they decided not to have church that week but fortunately we were able to go to their sister church instead. It was one of the most amazing tour stops we had and the Lord moved through us greatly. The Lord has really been speaking to us as a group about choosing joy and moving past our circumstances into his grace that enables us to hear him and speak through him. It was incredible how many of the words we gave people were right on and many of them had to do with having joy and walking in that. Levi got to pray with someone who wanted to rededicate his life to the Lord, and Melissa got to pray for a little girl who wanted to ask the Lord into her heart. That was only the beginning of how the Lord was moving that night. We had the opportunity to pray for a young couple who was just getting into the youth ministry there and just starting a family. It was a great time of encouragement to them and speaking confidence over them and the places they are going. The Lord made it obvious to us that we were supposed to be there even though it was not as planned and we saw him do amazing things there. We believe it was a great time of connection with their church and we are so excited about what the Lord used us to do and say to them.

The next day we drove all day and stopped in Columbus Ohio for the night and got to see Toy Story 3 as a group. The next day we finished the trip to Summerville Pennsylvania for the first ever appearance of Master’s Commission in their church. Pastor David Shay and his family welcomed us into their home and we felt so cared for and loved by them. They live out in the peaceful countryside where we greatly enjoyed some fishing, a bonfire, and playing with the kittens. Saturday morning we joined alongside Pastor David’s church, Living Church International and their school, Christ Dominion Academy to help them put on a penny carnival. This is an amazing event they put on to reach the people in their neighborhood and the city’s surrounding there’s with the love of Jesus. There was a great turnout of people and some even drove an hour or more just to be there. We helped by running games, face painting, and giving out prizes. We also had the opportunity to do some of our dances for them in-between games. We had many requests for the rhythm/dance piece that we do and we ended up doing it around 7 times for them. Over all it was a great day and they were so thankful for the help and support and we greatly enjoyed helping them and hanging out with the kids.

Sunday morning Pastor David asked us to share about discipleship with them so Levi, Melissa and Joseph all shared their testimony and how the Lord has used discipleship to strengthen them and draw them closer to Him. After the testimonies, the girls shared a dance with them and Laura, Larissa, Angela and Sarah all had prophetic paintings for the Church. The amazing part about it was that all four of them had to do with water and they were all given the words at different times and didn’t talk about them till they shared them with the church. The Lord was speaking encouragement to their congregation about others wanting to come into their church because of the peace and life they have and that they are a refreshing river that is going to impact other people.

Overall we felt very refreshed going to church and we are so grateful for their heart to serve us and love us. We had many good times hanging out with Pastor David and Emily, their three daughters and son, and all their other family that also opened their home to us. We even got to see a great firework show with them on the fourth of July followed by a bonfire and stories of how the Lord has used them. We all felt very connected and really enjoyed our time there being refreshed.

After a great weekend we headed to Washington D.C. and even had a free day to just tour around the city and see many of the sites. After that we started a 10 day Microsoft show followed by a day of driving to Atlanta, and doing a 7 day show which we now only have two days left of before we head back to Oklahoma City. We are so grateful for the opportunity to work for and represent Event Force at these shows and for this week in Atlanta we are so blessed to have three future students and Pastor Dwight’s daughter Kendra working with us also.  Saturday we head back to Oklahoma City for our last week in MC's before we graduate!

Little Rock Arkansas

Little rock Arkansas
June 11-13
After working for ten days in the city of New Orleans for a Microsoft show, we went to Laura’s church in Little Rock Arkansas.  We were very privileged to be with Pastor Paul Doherty and his church, Victory Fellowship.  Saturday Morning we served them by weeding the playground, preparing the volleyball court, and paint a picnic table.  In spite of the heat, we were able to get many things done in just a few short hours followed by a delicious lunch.  That evening after having some time to clean up, we met at Pastor Paul’s house for a wonderful time of prayer and worship with some members of the church.  It was a very encouraging time of praying for the leaders of their church and imparting faith into the younger generation of upcoming leaders.

Sunday we had an exciting time of worship with their congregation and then we were able to give back to them by encouraging and prophesying to them.  The Lord highlighted many people to us to pray for and people he wanted to know that He loved and cared for.  He even used Angela to heal three woman of severe back pain, one who had been in pain for about 25 years!  We were so grateful to be there and know that the word’s we gave were received and that the Lord was going to bless them.  Sunday night we were able to join a church called Healing Waters for their service.  Victory fellowship has just begun to connect with them and it was a great way to encourage that relationship. They had  many positive things to say and they were really touched by God and amazed at how He worked through us and they were really glad we came to minister to them.

Monday Morning before heading back to Oklahoma City we had the amazing opportunity to sit and listen to Pastor Paul share his heart with us about the attributes of love and what the Lord was speaking to him about it.  We were very encouraged to be in Little Rock and felt that even though we were pouring out to them, we were still able to receive so much from them also.

Lansing, Michigan-last stop....for now

Lansing Michigan May 16 - 20, 2010

Sunday afternoon we departed from Ohio and headed north for our last tour stop for now-Lansing Michigan the home of Hannah Hall. We had the evening to relax and spend time with our host families and rest for work Monday. We worked on various work projects around New Covenant Christian Church on Monday, such as trimming hedges, weeding, and passing out flyers to the neighbors telling them about our program Wednesday night and asking them if we could serve them by helping them with any work projects they might have . Again Tuesday we continued in serving around the Church building by weeding and doing some outside work. Some of us continued walking around the neighborhood looking for people we could serve to bless the community on Wednesday. After a little down time to refresh and nap, we returned together with some of the Church for they called “equipping.” Angela and John were given the opportunity to share their testimonies and they did a great job of sharing their hearts with the small group of people who were there. Then we watched a teaching by Danny silk on the limitless God who enables us with Grace to believe and go beyond limits that we put on ourselves and one another. It was very encouraging and even had some time to pray over each other after the teaching.

Wednesday morning we were invited to present some of our dramas, dances and testimonies to the K-12 grade New Covenant Christian School in their weekly morning chapel. Despite the short amount of time we had to minister to the kids, many were very receptive to what we did and we were able to pray with many of them. A few of them after seeing what the Lord did in chapel, wanted to come back for more later that night when we did youth group. The rest of the morning and afternoon we spent serving the neighborhood around the church by helping them with odd jobs around their home such as washing windows, vacuuming and weeding. Many of the people we were able to serve were older people who can’t do those things anymore and were so blessed to have them done. People were very grateful for the help and were blown away that we just wanted to serve and not receive money for it. The church has done things in these neighborhoods before but it was great to really connect with them bless them with the love of Father.

Wednesday night we were able to take part in the weekly youth group service which they also invited the whole church to and the elementary aged kids were even able to join us for some time. Levi, John and Jordan were all invited to join the normal Wednesday night worship team to play with them. They greatly enjoyed it and was even a favorite part of tour for some of them. The Lord was pouring out encouragement for many people, he seemed to especially be highlighting the youth and we gave many encouraging words to them. Both Joe and Ryan had people say they really related to their testimonies and they were able to pray that the Lord would move in there situations and prayed that they would be warriors and encouraged them. Levi found the man with a hurt hand that he had been looking for all of tour after asking if there was anyone there with that name. Laura really connected with a girl in the morning and the Lord gave her many words of encouragements throughout the day and she left feeling very encouraged in her walk with the Lord. As well as praying for people many of us received prayer and words from people. We were very encouraged by their body and felt we made many connections with people.

We are now back in Oklahoma city and were able to share testimonies about what the Lord did through us on Sunday at Covenant Life. We were very excited to also be able to share a drama and then minister alone side the youth to the congregation. This coming weekend Washington Master’s Commission is going to be here and we are so excited to be able to not only minister alone side them to the MCOKC churches, but take it to the park and proclaim to the neighborhood. Then in one week we hit the road again for New Orleans Microsoft show and Little Rock Arkansas tour stop.

Thank you to everyone who was praying for us. We are overjoyed to see what the Lord used us to do and couldn’t have done it without your prayers!

The Middle of Middlefield Ohio

Middlefield, Ohio May 13- 16 2010

Thursday we traveled to the hometown of Sarah Sundburg- Middlefield Ohio. Friday morning we had a time of worship and prayer with the one of the Pastors of Christ’s Covenant Church, Mike Southern. The church leases out it’s building to a small school and we were given the opportunity to pray for and prophesy over the principle who is going through some big life changes. It was very encouraging to him and he was really ministered to by the Lord. Then we prayed and prophesied over Pastor Mike and the Church’s secretary and their families. The Lord also provided the chance for us to pray over one of the youth who was hanging out with us that day. It was not only encouraging to those we gave words to, but to us and how right on the words were and to see that the Lord blesses us as we step out in faith.

In the afternoon we went to a local middle school where Pastor Mike and another Pastor from the area have a weekly after school program. We had lots of fun playing games with the kids and getting to know them. Then we did some dances and shared some testimonies with them. A lot of the kids seemed to relate to several of the testimonies that were shared. There seemed to be genuine connections and several of the kids asked for prayer and mentioned wanting to come to Master’s Commission when they were old enough. A few even took brochures home to their older siblings to see if they would like the idea of Master’s Commission.

Saturday Morning Jordan and Hannah shared with a group from the church about treasure hunting. Many of them were very excited to hear more about it and also put it into practice. We then split up into groups and went to different places around the city talking and praying for people the Lord highlighted to us. Every group found multiple people on their maps to pray for and they felt very encouraged by seeing the Lord use them to speak to people. It’s very exciting to see where the Lord is going to take them and we were happy to share with them just one tool they can use in doing that. They are excited to see their congregation grow more in the gifts and in reaching out to people, especially for their annual “rib burn off” in August which attracts many people from the neighborhood.

Then Saturday night we got to hang out with some of the youth for their pizza and movie night. We had a great time eating and watching a movie with them. It really gave us a chance to interact with the youth and speak life to the ones we wouldn’t have got to reach out to on Sunday morning. After the movie a few of us were asked to share our testimonies and we believe it encouraged them that the Lord has given them purpose and identity in him.

Sunday morning we joined the church for Praise and Worship and it was exciting to see God at work in the church congregation. One of the men from the church who went on the treasure hunt the day before got up and shared his testimony along with a word from God that lined up with what our tour theme was; Love. The excitement he spoke with and the passion he poured out really helped strengthen the congregation’s faith as well as our own. And that was just the beginning of how God moved mightily that morning. During Praise and Worship Jordan and Levi painted prophetic pictures for the church. One depicted heaven’s doors opening over the church and the blessings of God pouring out in the shape of a falcon because the falcon represented the speed in which God’s blessings are going to hit the church. The other was a picture of a sword stuck in the ground of a battlefield with the word ‘Son’ written on it to encourage the church that they should fight as the Sons and Daughters of God because that is their identity. The congregation seemed really excited and really grabbed on to the words from God. This theme continued through the testimonies and dramas and the prophetic call outs. The words were really uplifting and exactly what the people needed to hear. There was a call of impartation and the people were really hungry for God and what he wanted to do. People were asking for prayer left and right, wanting to strengthen their faith for the spiritual gifts God have given them and then some of them immediately began to use the giftings they had in them. People began giving words to different Mcs and everyone left feeling a great encouragement. And in the midst of all of this, Laura got to speak and pray with a potential student who seemed really excited about what could possibly await her in Master’s Commission. We left Middlefield feeling very encouraged and excited about what God will continue to do in Christ Covenant as well as for the rest of our tour!

Freeville, New york!

May 10 - 13, 2010

Tuesday morning we served at Covenant Love Church in Freeville New York. We started the day by helping them cut out material for little dog stuffed animals they are going to make for foster children. We then were able to do a school assembly for the K-8th grade school they have at Covenant Love. The kids really enjoyed the dances and rhythms we did for them and the songs we did with motions. Then we had the 7th and 8th graders for a little while longer. Some played games with us, while the other half learned rhythm with John. There was a lot of talent in the group and they really enjoyed it too! The building Covenant Love is currently in, is an old barn so the ceiling of the downstairs is all logs and wood boards. It made it very dark down there so in the afternoon we worked on white washing the boards to make it much lighter. It was a good start to a project that is going to make some great changes.

Again, Wednesday we continued the work projects. 5 of us went outside, and spread woodchips on the playground. They did a great job with it even though it was cold and a little rainy. The rest of us continued on the painting project inside. We finished the first coat of their locker room, coffeehouse room, and hallway. When we left, it was looking much more cheery and happy. We are excited for what they are going to be able to do with those rooms as they continue the update.

Wednesday night we had the privilege of being with the youth of Covenant Love that normally meet on Wednesday nights, and many who don’t usually come. The Lord was really at work and it was exciting to minister to a crowd of mostly youth who aren’t that much older then us. We prayed for at least four graduating seniors, that the Lord would show them what to do next. A few of them are even praying about coming to MCOKC in the fall. Jordan got to pray with a young man who said he had a hard time hearing God’s voice. After praying for him and encouraging him that God speaks in different ways to different people, he even got a word of knowledge for Jordan. Levi received a word for a guy and told him that the Lord noticed him and He is not ashamed of him. The man said he didn’t feel like the Lord cared about him and Levi was able to pray with him and lead him to the Lord healing him from some past situations in his life where he was made fun of. Joseph prayed with a few guys who wanted to receive the gift of tongues. Even though they didn’t right there, it was encouraging that they desired to receive it and we are believing they will. Laura received a word for lady that the Lord smiles on her and is so pleased with her. Ariana received a word for the same lady that Lord wanted her to not worry about her future and trust that she is bringing him glory. Ariana got to talk and pray for her and later we were told by one of the pastors that the words were right on for her. John had a prophetic painting for the Church about dance coming back into their church and in that dancing there was going to be purity. This was a very exciting word for their congregation because people are just coming into the church with a passion for dance. Many connections were made and we really enjoyed being with Pastor Ken and Faith Negvesky and their Church. They were very welcoming and grateful to have us there.

We are now in Middlefield Ohio for a few days before heading to our last stop in Michigan on Sunday.

Win Win Win Winchester - part 2

Winchester Kentucky, May 5-9 2010

Thursday morning we had the opportunity to serve Winchester Covenant Church by doing some cleaning around their church building. Also, the students went to the home of an older man in the church who is unable to doing much cleaning in his home and clean it up. He was very blessed by what we were able to do in his home.

Friday was our fun day and we traveled about an hour to “natural bridge”. We hiked for about 30 minutes up the mountain to enjoy the beautiful view of the Kentucky green forest. Up on the top is a huge rock that is formed into the shape of a bridge that you can walk under and on. It was a beautiful day for hiking, blue skies and a nice breeze. Those who couldn’t hike even got to see the view by taking the Sky lift up to the top. Many people from the church joined us and it was a great time to get to know them better and for the three from this area, spend time with their families. After hiking all morning we worked up our appetite and ate at Miguel’s pizza, a little mom and pop shop place near natural bridge with incredible pizza. After a fun filled day we went to the worship night they have once a month. A few of us even got to jam with them after the worship time. Again Saturday night Pastor Dwight had the opportunity to jam with three generations of Marlowe’s! being in Winchester for five days gave us plenty of much needed time to just have fun and enjoy getting to know people in the church better.

Saturday morning we shared with them the three workshops we had prepared to do. Larissa shared her prophetic art workshop. She asked them to ask the Lord for an encouraging picture for someone in the group and then draw it. John did a rhythm workshop with a group of people. They played around with the different instruments and really enjoyed getting to learn some basic rhythms. Jordan and Hannah shared about treasure hunting, a tool we use for finding people the Lord wants us to minister to. After explaining how to do it, we had them ask the Lord for clues and after lunch some of us were able to go and try it. We found some people on our maps and were able to pray and encourage them. Many people in the church are excited to put into practice what they learned.

Saturday night we went to Forest grove Church and ministered to their congregation. The Lord poured out his grace and blessings on us in spite of having a very small stage and a different crowd then we were used to. Coming in to it, we were all experiencing different levels of negativity and depression. John called us together to share with one another where we were at and what we were feeling. We were all able to open up and share with each other some of the things we were facing. It was neat to see how once we humbled and opened ourselves up the Lord came and met us. We were able to pray for a new spirit of joy and love and just give everything over to Him. The Lord really met us and was able to then use us to bless the congregation is ways that were so beyond us all. We saw the Lord encourage many people through words about being noticed, loved, seeing light at the end of a tunnel of darkness, and the Lord removing clouds of shame. We even got confirmation about some of our words being right on from a man who had grown up in the church and knew the people we spoke to. The Lord really turned around the darkness we were facing into good. He turned our eyes off us and to him and bringing glory to him.

Sunday morning we got to be at Pastor Steve’s “Winchester Covenant Church.” We came into this morning with joy and entered into their service that seemed more like a family atmosphere then we experienced before. Many hearts were very tender for what the Lord was saying and doing. The Lord was really calling up the young men and giving them words about activating their spiritual gifts, being warriors, encouraging them to keep dreaming and not stop where they are, and that the lord is proud of them. The Lord was also calling the next generation of men to come into a place of fathering the younger ones, and that they were full of wisdom to give them. He was speaking joy, confidence, and father’s love into the young girls and the Lord was cleansing them and drawing them closer to him. For the next generation of women he was healing things from their past and releasing anger and pain. He was also encouraging them as mothers that they were doing a good job with their children and are good enough for it. It was very easy to connect with them, and we even found it hard to say goodbye. There was a family feeling there that greatly impacted us.

(If you would like to see more pictures from tour, they are on the MCOKC face book page: http://www.facebook.com/#!/mcokc?ref=ts )

Win Winchester part 1 - the hidden treasure

On Wednesday we traveled from Louisville to Winchester Kentucky, the home of Melissa Camenisch, Jordan Marlowe and Levi Lamy who is from near Winchester. Before heading to the church we took the time to ask the Lord for clues about people he wanted us to talk to and then went treasure hunting. Pastor Dwight had McDonald's, red sign, and light shirt and the verse in Hebrews about the Lord strengthening the ankles on his map. He found a guy sitting in McDonald's with a light shirt on and who had a prosthetic leg. The man said the doctors had told him he would be in a wheelchair in a few years because of his diabetes. Pastor Dwight got to pray for him and give him the verse. Levi had the name Conner, red shirt and in need of encouragement/affirmation on his map. Levi found a guy with a red shirt on and who’s last name was Conner. Even though he said he didn’t need prayer for anything, Levi was able to encourage him and pray for him. Before tour, Melissa had heard the name Jenny. While at the park she saw a lady she felt like she needed to pray for and found out her name was Jennifer. After explaining how she had been looking for her all of tour, the lady really opened up and shared about some struggles she was going through. Also on Melissa’s map was “family problems” and that was one thing she wanted prayer for. Jordan had the statue in College park on his map and got to talk with a guy near the statue. Showing him his map, he asked if anything else on his map fit him. The man said he had been trying to get off drugs, which was on Jordan’s map. Jordan got to pray with him about that and also in finding a job. Other then praying for people, we also did some praying over the park and planting scriptures of peace and joy. The Lord is really touching this city and doing amazing things in it.

NEWPORT KY!!!

Newport Kentucky, May 2-4 2010.

Sunday night we ministered at “Life gate Church” in Newport at their Sunday night service. We received many words of knowledge for people and many were for their Church. Angela and Ryan had words for the Church about the building they are hoping to build and that the Lord still had that in his plan and that he was wiping away the unneeded things to make room for the new life that he’s bringing. Joe got a word of knowledge for a young man he was talking with about being depressed and got to minister to him and encourage him to lay down the many responsibilities that he was holding on to that he didn’t need to anymore. Laura got to pray with a lady who said she wanted Laura’s anointing of dance and to press through her knee problems and also got a word of knowledge for her about sleeping all night and was able to pray for her and encourage her in that. Sarah got a word for a young girl about her name being Sarah because she was a princess, even though it wasn’t her name and got to pray for her and it really touched her. Hannah had gotten a name before tour and then found her here and told her the Lord wanted her to know she is beautiful and that others had told her different but what God says is all that matters. It really meant a lot to her and Hannah got to pray with her about it. Jordan shared that he struggled with pushing past a horrible back ache and the grace the Lord had given him in that and then was able to pray for several people with back pain, all of them said they felt significantly better and believed the Lord was going to heal them all the way.

We had the privilege of giving our testimonies, rhythms and dramas for a public middle school for children who had been kicked out of all other schools. All the MC’s shared about their own experience of rejection, shame, abandonment, feelings of worthlessness and how their lives changed thanks to unconditional love and truth received through positive relationships, and a “special friend” (We were not aloud to speak the name of Jesus, but we definitely still brought the kingdom). We were able to speak value, worth, hope and purpose in the kids and they really received it.

Also on Monday we were able to serve one of the elders in their Church who is battling cancer. We did some mowing, planting flowers, weeding and other jobs around their home. Along with working we really were able to minister to them by praying over their home and over them and the Lord really touched them.

Monday night we got to hang out with the youth and young adults at a party which consisted of some hard core basketball, a bonfire, hamburgers and getting to know them better. We had a great time and made some good relationships with the youth and young adults.

Thank you to Pastor Dennis Cole for sharing his heart with us, that he has learned that the spiritual life is a journey with the Father rather then a series of conclusions which lead us into pride. He and his wife Sheila invested time in us by asking our discernment of how we saw the Lord at work in their congregation. This was a precious time because we were able to ask them questions and see more of their heart for their Church. This is the first time in three years a pastor has asked the MC’s for their discernment and feedback.

Louisville!!

Louisville, Kentucky- Friday April 30, through Sunday May 2, 2010 and May 4 2010.

Saturday morning we had the opportunity to go with Pastor Ted Sandquist to another congregation in the city and make breakfast burritos for the homeless. After helping them make the food, we then were able to go into the city to different places that support the homeless and provide them with breakfast. We even got to do our stomps a few times.

Coming in to Louisville, we read that it is a city of new beginnings and that it was a place of new found freedom from slavery. On Sunday morning we received many encouraging and affirming words for Pastor Ted’s congregation, “In Christ Church and Ministries.” John sang over them the song “Pioneer” and gave them a word about being ground breakers. Pastor Dwight gave them a word to not be weary but to see all that they do as preparation for love; that just as God has been involved from the beginning of time in preparation, He has likewise been involved with them laboring with and through them. Levi received a word from Isaiah 40 about them preparing the way of the lord. Melissa and Ariana together did a prophetic painting of a colorful tornado bringing change to the Church. We received many more encouraging words for the congregation and they were very blessed by them. Pastor Ted’s wife Dawn told us how encouraging the words were to them, especially about being pioneers.

After heading to Newport Kentucky for a few days, we are now back in Louisville Kentucky to pray with Pastor Ted and another local Pastor named Pastor Milton whose Church has been built right in the middle of 7th Street known as “the bad street,” which is lined with “adult” party clubs and only a few blocks from the home of the Kentucky derby horse race. We walked the property of the Church declaring Scriptures and praising God and praying his presence in that neighborhood. Then we went to the parking lots of the some of the clubs near by declaring the goodness of the Lord. While reading the Scriptures some felt resistance, a spirit of Jezebel, fear, a spirit of enslavement, a sense of loss, powerlessness, shame, worthlessness, deceit and frustration for the women who are trapped in that lifestyle, as well as anger over the injustice and uncleanness. Thank you Pastor Ted for teaching us principles of declaring the Scripture that regardless of how we feel when we intercede like this the enemy strongholds are confronted by God’s word. This is our third year praying on that street and we have seen some positive changes each year we come back.

After prayer walking we helped them around the Church with planting some flowers and painting prep. Tomorrow we head to Winchester Kentucky for our longest stop.

Tour 2010!!!! First stops

Vinita Oklahoma- Wednesday, April 28, 2010

We have been on the road for three days and already the Lord has used us to bring his kingdom through healings, signs and wonders. Wednesday night we were at New Life Church in Vinita Oklahoma and as soon as we walked in the building the presence of the Lord was there and the sense of his joy and glory was there.

Laura received a word for a man about the Lord bringing restoration to his family and later found out he had recently gone through a divorce and was living with his parents who were getting ready to go over seas for missions. Hannah felt like she needed to speak her testimony of not being alone or forsaken by God over a girl who we then found out name was also Hannah. Angela got the name Cat and a lady came up to her and said her mother went by Cat and was having major back problems and was really struggling with depression. Larissa prayed for a man who came in with a knee brace on and in a lot of pain and after being prayed for felt like there was a heating pad on his knee and was pain free. Ryan and Sarah were able to minister to a young girl who had dealt with cutting and while praying for her, Ryan got a word of knowledge about her father and she told him she didn’t have one. They prayed for her and felt like the Lord had broken holds off her from the enemy about not having a father.

Many more people encountered the Lord that night, and were set free from bondage and encouraged. We had the opportunity to pray over the pastor and received many words for him confirming him doing something new and encouraging him in the steps he’s taking to get there.

Alton, Illinois- Thursday, May 1, 2010
We worked with Tim Stark’s Juvenile Diversion program. that helps youth who have gotten in trouble with the law turn around and make better choices. We got to share testimonies, drama’s and dances, and had a time to just talk and pray with them one on one. Some of the kids really opened up to us and shared what was going on in there life while others remained walls. Jordan got to talk to some guys about who Jesus is to him and they really opened up and asked many questions and expressed a great hunger for a God who cares about them. Levi asked some guys what God was to them and was able to share with them the reality of who God is as a father. Melissa got to minister to a girl who had felt like no one had been there for her since her mom died years ago and was really able to be a friend to her and listen to her.

Even though this was a stretching experience for many of us, we saw the Lord use us to plant many seeds and begin to pour into these lives by showing that we care for them and showing them how much their father cares for them. Continue to pray that God use us to penetrate walls in people with the love of Father.

Class of 09/10- And so it begins...

Today the MCOKC class of 2010 is leaving for a little over three week tour.  In a just a few hours we will leave Oklahoma and head to our first stop in Vinita Oklahoma.  This past weekend we had Gary and Sandy Cake from California here with us and we were greatly blessed and encouraged by the prophetic words they spoke over us.  On Saturday night, they commissioned us by praying for us, and by leading us in prophesying over people from the church who were there.

On Sunday night, we were involved in the youth banquet for the youth here at the church.  We were encouraged to be asking the lord for prophetic words to give the youth.  Levi got a word for a young man about the Lord wanting to have a father/son relationship with him.  After Levi had given him the word, Jordan heard the same word about the Lord wanting a relationship with him, and without asking Levi about the word he gave the man, he gave it to him.  Jordan asked the young man if he wanted to have that relationship with God and he said yes.  Jordan was able to pray with him and talking with him found out he had a pretty rough relationship with his earthly father and didn't really know what it was like to have that.  The Lord really showed him how much he loved him and the desire he had to have a relationship with him.

We would greatly appreciate your prayers for us!  Here is a list of our stops and the prayer focus for each place:
